2 BE SAFE

For PTWs, the European project 2 BE SAFE is currently developing a methodology, including observation technology, study design and issues of processing. 2 BE SAFE will run pilot studies, results are expected in 2011. For PTW it is more difficult to implement observation devices on the participants' vehicles. Hence, these studies will predominantly done using special instrumented vehicles instead of mounting observation devices on the subjects' own vehicles.
